Recommended needles when using one thread:
Wool darning needle 14, Tapestry/Chenille needle 14 or 16

  • soft, braided thread
  • non mercerized
  • Very versatile in use
  • Uncomplicated processing
  • Due to its special design, it can be laid flat and overlaid without major effort. Used on Kaneva’s #40, it covers the surface very well with just one thread.
  • can be ruched for a special effect by pulling 1 or more of the strands. Ruching holds better than with Braided Rayon (VTRS/VTR) and does not need to be additionally fixed
  • particularly suitable for making very sturdy and creative cords
  • can be used well for summer jewelry
  • can be processed or crocheted very well with the Lucette
