🐛 Silk Cocoon Sheet

Unique silk structure for creative textile art
Our Silk Cocoon Sheets are made from silk cocoons that can no longer be reeled. Instead of discarding them, we transform them into a homogeneous, yet vibrant surface that preserves the characteristic diamond structure of the silk fibers.
It is manufactured on special machines that are actually used for the production of technical grid fabrics. The individual layers can be easily pulled apart, which offers additional design options.

This textile structure is versatile:

  • Felting: Simply combine with wool using a needle or when wet felting.
  • Spinning: The fibers can be spun and further processed into exclusive projects.
  • Textile art: Ideal for mixed media work, silk paper making or as decorative elements in artwork.

Our hand-dyed Silk Cocoon Sheets are available in selected Painters Glory colors and add a touch of luxury to any project.
