Recommended Wool Darner when using one thread:
Wool Darner 14, Tapestry/Chenille needle 14

TIP: Thread length should not be longer than 30cm.

  • Base material: metallized bouclette thread
  • braided from 12 individual Metallics threads
  • Individual threads cannot be separated
  • High stability
  • is not rubbed so hard at the eye of the needle

It is much easier to work with than the Base Thread from which it is braided.
Sizes available from the manufacturer of the Base Thread in solid or multi-colored braided: 4-8-12-16 made of 4, 8, 12 or 16 individual Metallics or Lustre threads.
Lustre:

  • smooth, flat metallics without reinforcing thread
  • very high sheen
  • very hard
  • does not adapt to the Working Fabric as well as the Metallics
