Tapestry/chenille needle 18, Wool Darner 18

Very versatile in use
Uncomplicated processing
Due to its special design, it can be laid flat and overlaid without major effort
can be ruched for a special effect by pulling one or more of the braiding threads
Ruffles must be additionally fastened
Well suited as Filament thread for

Originally designed for cross stitch…
individual strands were pulled out of the braid and used for cross stitch
a single, pulled Rayon thread can be used well as Filament thread for e.g. wool, in order to create a few highlights
several drawn-out single threads are used with the auxiliary tool like Stranded Cotton
Attention: the single thread is very sensitive!
for canvas work, iron the ribbon beforehand and work with a laying tool
